Donald Trump won't be posting on YouTube for at least another week.
The Google-owned video platform has extended the Trump ban it had imposed a week ago. “In light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, the Donald J. Trump channel will be prevented from uploading new videos or livestreams for an additional minimum of seven days,” a YouTube spokesman told CNBC.
Trump's channel isn't fully banned — old content is still available — however, Trump will be unable to post, and comments under his videos are "indefinitely disabled."

Trump's YouTube channel, which has 2.79 million subscribers, was suspended after Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol in an attack that left five people dead. The suspension followed similar moves from other major social platforms, including Facebook and Twitter.
The move comes ahead of President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration on Wednesday.

Unlike YouTube, which merely extended Trump's suspension for a week, Twitter has taken already taken the step of banning Trump from its platform indefinitely.
