A former Paralympic athlete got straight back up again after dropping the torch during the Paralympics Opening Ceremony on Wednesday.

Undeterred, Malsar calmly got back to her feet as two staff members helped her with the torch and the crowd cheered and clapped.

The Paralympic Games' official Twitter and Facebook accounts shared the video with the caption: "What defines us is how well we rise after falling".
