NBC's Will and Gracerevival premiered Thursday on NBC, and it was mere seconds before the show got political (in a game of Heads Up, Will says "hostage" for the clue; Grace guesses "Melania!").
A small subset of curious first-time viewers and older fans were put off by the overt politics of the premiere, but most Will and Gracefans saw it coming, and were thrilled -- after all, this whole revival business began when the cast reunited last year for a pro-Hillary Clinton campaign issue.

The first episode of Season 9 (!) put both Will and Grace in compromising positions; Will flirting with an environmentally unfriendly congressman and Grace on the fence about redecorating the oval office. By the halfway mark of the episode, they're both at the White House, fighting about ideals.

In the end (spoiler? Is this a spoiler-y show?) Grace leaves a little something in the Oval -- an HRC hat that says "Make America Gay Again." The hat has been available for some time, but now it's a sneaky Will and Gracereference -- and its own form of covert resistance.
